The Ava Gallery is located in a converted hayloft in the 19th century courtyard at Clandeboye Estate in County Down. The gallery holds four commercial exhibitions a year, as well as an annual, museum-standard loan exhibition of work by a major artist or group of artists. The gallery exhibits a small number of leading contemporary Northern Irish artists, usually those who do not exhibit elsewhere in the country. We also specialise in European, British and Irish paintings and drawings from the 1880s to the 1960s. Outside exhibitions we deal extensively for private clients in acquiring and selling pictures and are pleased to offer advice on a formal or informal basis.
