This gallery is located in the trendy Huguenot Quarter of the city centre. It hasn't been open too long but has already gained a good reputation for stylish and well-judged exhibitions. The emphasis here is on modern art, both figurative and abstract.

VELKA is unique in being the only commercial gallery of photography in Dublin. Our goal is to present a variety of exceptional work by new and emerging Irish and International photographers.
Each picture is a limited edition, individually signed and available framed, unframed and blockmounted.
As quality is foremost in the collection, each photograph is produced on long-life professional photography paper and presented in wooden frames behind non-reflective glass.

VISUAL Centre for Contemporary Art boasts four principal exhibition spaces, and the Main Gallery is recognised as Irelandís largest and most spectacular space for presenting contemporary art. Since the opening in September 2009 the visual arts programme has included leading Irish and International artists. Some of the best known artists have included Sean Scully, a painter of world renown, showing his Works from the 1980ís, Joseph Albers with A Touring exhibition from the Hayward Gallery, London and Michael Warren, renowned Irish sculptor who presented a major exhibition comprising both new and retrospective work, entitled Unbroken Line.
