You will find a change of direction in the art and the artists we are promoting. Although we will continue to display and sell irish art of the 19th and 20th century alongside contemporary artists we will also be promoting more naive or primitive painting. I dislike the terms naive and primitive as do many artists, there are so many other words that are just as unsatisfactory in describing such works i.e. simple, unsophisticated, honest, natural, childlike, true, innocent, popular etc.
