The Taise Gallery is a sancturary for the work of local and contemporary artists. The landscape of the Glens, the mystery of the mountains and the secrets of the sea are caught in oil on canvas. It is remarkable that such a small town should have such an inviting gallery so that these modern day artefacts can be given a viewing in their own place - "the only way to purchase the sunrises, the sunsets, the rythm of the tides and the magic of the soil."
