Fergus O Mahony has owned Mary Anns in Castletownshend since 1988 and together with his wife Patricia they have built one of the most successful and award winning Bar & Restaurants in Ireland, recognised for many awards both here in Ireland and Abroad and are in over forty International Guides and has featured many times on Irish and British Television Travel Shows and Patricia featured on the Irish version of Ready, Steady, Cook.
In 2003 Fergus opened The Warren Gallery over Mary Anns, named after Mrs Margaret Warren a great local patron of the arts and in year one held six very successful shows.
In 2004 The Warren hosted Thirteen Shows and also put on Major Exhibitions in London and Dublin many of which were sell outs.
In 2005 Fergus put together a schedule of thirteen shows in Castletownshend together with five shows in Dublin one in Cork and another at The Sheen Falls Lodge in Kenmare.
Permanent Collections of Work from The Warren are now on permanent display at The Lodge and Spa Hotel Clonakilty

The Whalley Gallery's vision is to encourage and support exciting Irish and International contemporary artists and talent. From the outset, the galleries owners believe that neither artists nor art lovers need just another art gallery. What is needed is an environment that not only encourages artists to explore and develop their natural talents, but most importantly, one that supports them in this process.
The galleries owners Stephen and Dawn are a husband and wife team and both come from artistic backgrounds. With an artistic eye and honest approach, hope to make collecting art a very enjoyable and life changing experience.
Our new addition to the staff is Colleen Crothers, who will be with us full time.
We offer a number of services, any painting purchased we offer free delivery within Northern Ireland. Free of charge we can come to your home and hang your painting for you.
A design consultation is also free of charge, this is were you can benefit from our interiors service. We can call to you

The Art Gallery was founded in 1969 as part of the larger, established furnishing business. It opened with a one man exhibition of Colin Middleton and quickly became a main player on the art scene. Look at any history of late 20th century Irish art and the bulk of the main artists have shown in the Tom Caldwell Gallery: Gerard Dillon, Tom Carr, Dan O'Neill, Nevill Johnson, Patrick Collins, Basil Blackshaw, Neil Shawcross and the list goes on. In 1974 the gallery opened in Dublin and for many years was the only art gallery with exhibition space on both sides of the Irish border. With a new gallery space opening in Belfast on the same site as the old furnishing business in the early 1990s it became increasingly difficult to maintain the Dublin gallery and it was eventually closed after twenty years. 2004 sees a radical change with the gallery moving to a new premises after nearly sixty years in Bradbury Place.
