Paintings in the gallery include oil, acrylic and watercolour by both established Irish artists and new local artists. The Prentice Gallery also sells Antiques clocks and furniture. The atmosphere in The Prentice Gallery is very inviting, rooms with high ceilings, windows with real curtains, period fireplaces and the original tiled hallway setting off the pitched pine stairwell and stained glass landing window. "People feel very comfortable coming into our Gallery." says Paul Prentice, the owner of The Prentice Gallery. "There is no pressure to buy and I believe that entering a house makes you feel relaxed, you can wander from room to room, view in peace, talk privately and enjoy a cup of coffee at Esthers Coffee House, located adjacent to the Gallery.
