The Shaw Gallery opened in Cork city centre in May 2006 in a central location next to The Kino on Washington St. and since has gone from strength to strength.
According to Stephen Vaughan, Gallery director:
"The Gallery specialises in contemporary art by emerging and established artists, although we do represent several artists whose work is more traditional. Also our proximity to the Crawford College of Art has allowed us to build a strong relationship with several of the better graduates from the collegee over the last few years." |
